A hairdressers in Bilton is encouraging people to consider having their hair cut off in aid of a good cause.

Denise Cleary, owner of Salon One, is offering a free cut and restyle if people have seven inches or more of their hair cut off for children’s cancer charity the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

She said: “We know lots of children who are suffering with cancer, including the children of some of our clients. To see them losing their hair is sad. It’s a very emotional experience so we wanted to give something back.”

The cuts are being carried out by Denise and salon manager Leanne Clelland from Monday to Friday. To book call 01788 819990.
