Brave Sandy Sturgess said goodbye to her hair to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Her locks were shaved off as punters at the Crow Pie pub in Bilton cheered her on.
Sandy said: “I was very nervous before the shave took place, but my hair will grow back so it’s of little concern to me.
“For all the people fighting cancer, it must be a help to know people like me are supporting them.”
She has raised £400 for the charity and is appealing for more sponsorship.
“I have seen first hand how bad cancer is with my Nan having it twice. My Grandfather lost his fight to lung cancer eight years ago, and my stepmum lost her second lung cancer battle four years ago.
