PUPILS at Bilton Junior School thought it was going to be just a normal day in the classroom until they found themselves in the ‘South Pole’.

As an end of term surprise for Year Six pupils, staff turned a corridor into the South Pole, complete with blue lights, lasers, fake snow and a smoke machine.

They then spent the day planning a journey to a destination of their choice.

Deputy head Andrew Edwards said: “They thought it was fantastic.”
