Rugbeians can now benefit from a second library in the town.

The Warwickshire College library in Technology Drive, Rugby, offers people the chance to access 80,000 books, 375 journals, 21 online databases and 3,600 e-books.

There is also free computer use and internet access and printing and photocopying facilities.

The library has created links with the county libraries service which means that people will eventually be able to order and drop-off books from the town centre library at the college site.

Members can already drop off their library books at the college for collection.

The library opening is part of an agreement signed by the college and Rugby Borough Council to provide facilities for the whole community.

The college library was officially launched to the public at a special ceremony by Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Kathryn Lawrence and local author, Judith Allnatt. You will need ID and something with your address on to join.
