Screen hero Sir Roger Moore comes to Northampton’s Royal & Derngate next week to reveal exclusive anecdotes and inside stories from his exhilarating life and career.
Being interviewed by biographer Gareth Owen and following the release of his new book, Last Man Standing: Tales From Tinseltown, the acclaimed actor will be discussing his astonishing life from his work in the renowned TV series The Saint and The Persuaders, through to his Hollywood blockbusters and, of course, the 007 films in which he starred between 1973 and 1985.
A true raconteur, Roger will be lifting the lid on the journey that takes him from his beginnings as the son of a policeman in South London, to 007 via the golden age of cinema.
Wonderfully entertaining and laugh-out-loud funny, this selection of tales from his life and the world of the movies is vintage Moore at his very best.
The show also features an audience Q&A, which will give people the chance to put their questions to the man himself.
An Evening with Sir Roger Moore takes place at Royal & Derngate on Monday at 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £26 (plus booking fee if bought online or over the phone) and can be booked by calling box office on (01604) 624811 or by visiting www.royalandderngate.co.uk.
