Dust down your trilbys and pull on your stomping boots for an all summer long Ska Festival in Rugby.

A Ska and Cider Festival is taking place at the Ska Bar in Chapel Street with 12 ciders on offer.

The pub has been totally transformed by current owners Shaun Banks and Karen Tilley. It is unrecognisable from its former days and was voted best small Ska Live Venue 2016.

Shaun said: “Everyone is welcome to come and try the ciders at the Ska Bar, which has a great party atmosphere.

“It’s almost become a 2 Tone museum, with pictures and memorabilia all over the walls.”

Some great names from the Ska scene have pulled in the crowds at the town centre venue, including Selector’s Aitch Bembridge, AKA Ska Men UK, Professor RockSKa and Iain ‘SKAndemonium’ Ashby.

On Sundays, there’s DJs from 2pm, Thursday is jam night, Friday has guest DJs with live music on Saturday nights.
