FINE & Country estate agent in Rugby say they are always looking to embrace modern technologies to enhance the exposure of their vendors’ properties.

Their latest innovation is the use of QR codes (Quick Response Codes), which enables buyers with Smartphones to access a property’s personal web page, brochure and even a short film with commentary.

Smartphone users can easily download an QR code application via their mobile device, which then enables them to scan a code and be directed to Fine and Country’s properties.

Sam Funnell, manager of the Rugby Branch was quick to recognise their potential.

He said: “Our clients are very impressed.

“Each property now has three unique codes, one directing the buyer to a videoette, the other to the brochure and another to the properties’ web page.”

Sam said all the estate agent’s properties in their window display have them as well as newspaper adverts.

He added: “We have even put QR codes on the back of our business cards which will direct our clients to our own website.

“At Fine & Country we are always trying to enhance the vendor’s opportunity of selling and this is another tool to help increase the traffic of quality buyers to their home.”

Sam said the videoettes in particular are an impressive way of setting apart a Fine & Country home.

“A buyer can now see an entire tour of a home with commentary while they are on the move, which provides them with a unique insight into their chosen Fine & Country property,” he added.

“The growth of the Smartphone market is huge and analysts forecast that over 500 million smartphones will be sold in 2011 worldwide and its important that we continue to innovate and evolve at the forefront of technology and maximise the opportunities for our vendors.”
