The team at a Rugby opticians donned its brightest clothes to raise money to support blind people. Specsavers held the ‘Let’s Glow’ event at its store in the Clock Towers Shopping Centre and is still collecting money from supporters.

The team offered glow-in-the-dark Guide Dog pin badges in return for donations.

A representative from the charity joined the team, along with a four-legged friend, to greet customers.

The event is part of an ongoing partnership with Guide Dogs for the Blind which has already seen Specsavers raise enough money to pay for the breeding and training costs of 25 guide dog puppies. Guide Dogs provides mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people.

If you would like to support the charity, call in to the store to make a donation.
