Four members of Warwickshire Pathology Network completed the Run for Rotary at Draycote Water on Sunday for the Friends.

Nigel Blease, Gemma Salisbury, Gemma Sutton and Ami Khela hope to raise £1,000 for the Diamond Jubilee Appeal.

Team leader Nigel Blease said: “I was pleased to have recovered from an injury, which I suffered four weeks ago, in time to do the run in under an hour and that Ami was so keen to support the charity that she started running two weeks ago and managed the run in 1 hour and 5 minutes - in the middle of the pack!”

They were sponsored by friends and colleagues from hospitals in Rugby, Nuneaton, Coventry and Warwick.
