Comedian Shappi Khorsandi brings her show Dirty Looks and Hopscotch to Warwick Arts Centre on Wednesday March 13.

Shappi will be familiar to any fans of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats. She’s also made appearances on several Radio 4 Programmes and Have I Got News For You, QI and Friday Night with Jonathon Ross. She specialises in black comedy, observational humour and deadpan.

Her latest show, Dirty Looks and Hopscotch tells the story of her real-life fling with an anonymous rock star, who once told her: “You’re girlfriend material,” to which she quipped, “You’re stand-up material.”

The show has had rave reviews in the Guardian and London Evening Standard, with the former describing her as, “Britain’s best young female comic by any yardstick,” and the latter as a, “thrilling live comic.”
