Bilton Grange Senior Chapel Choir has qualified for the final of the Barnardo’s National Choral Competition and will be competing against choirs from around the UK at London’s Royal Festival Hall this month.

They had to sing two contrasting pieces of music and were judged on a broad range of criteria including their intonation, tone quality, interpretation of music and text, phrasing and communication. The final includes both the competition and a final concert where all competing choirs perform.

Headmaster Alex Osiatynski said: “I’m looking forward to hearing them sing in one of the world’s leading performance venues.”
