A popular swim centre is asking people to make a splash for cash and support a children’s hospice.

Swim Works, based in Hillmorton, will be holding a family swim day on April 26 between 10am and 2pm.

The event will include lessons, fun swims, cakes, games and a raffle.

Money raised will go to Zoe’s Place Children’s Hospice in Coventry.

Swim Works co-owner, Jo Wilson, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the local community to Swim Works and raising money for such a worthwhile cause. Please book our swim sessions to make sure everyone can swim.”

In the run up to the event the Swim Works team have been getting people to take on the ‘swim hat challenge’, where a hat is turned inside out, filled with water, and dropped on the swimmer’s head.

People can also join in by taking a silly swim hat photo.

The centre’s fundraising link can be found on its Facebook page.
