A voluntary ladies’ group from Rugby have dedicated their time to hand-make beautiful patchwork quilts and cushions to help raise funds for charity.

The Paddox Patchworkers sold raffle tickets to raise money for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry.

There were several prizes up for grabs including a handmade Dresden plate quilt and a hand-crafted cushion.

Shirley Smith from the Paddox Patchworkers said: “It’s wonderful that a deserving charity will benefit from our hobby.”

The raffle, which was held at various events throughout the summer, raised £1,505.
