BROWNSOVER Community Centre has been given a makeover by a group of teenagers.

The group of 16 an 17-year-olds taking part in the National Citizen Service redecorated the centre as one of their social action projects. They are also planning a community fun day to raise money for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance which will be held at GEC Recreation Ground on August 30 from 11am to 3pm.

Cllr Leigh Hunt said: “It is great to hear that these young people have made the most of it. Their chosen activity will bring a lasting benefit to the people of Brownsover, while the fun day should be well received too. I have no doubt that they will do a great job, and will raise much needed funds for the air ambulance.”
