A SERVICE of thanksgiving will be held to celebrate the life of antiques legend David Barby.
The thanksgiving service in celebration of the life of David will take place on Sunday September 2 at 2.30pm at St Andrew’s Church in Rugby.
All are welcome at the service, although there will be sections of reserved seats for invited guests.
The flamboyant TV presenter and renowned antiques expert died suddenly at the end of July, aged 69.
David, who lived with wife Janet in Hillmorton, was most famous for his frequent appearances on BBC shows including Bargain Hunt and Flog It!
Tributes to David have flooded in over the last few weeks from all that knew and loved him across the town, where he was born and raised.
Celebrity friends have also paid their respects.
A private family burial service was held in Hillmorton for David on August 16.
