AFTER sharing the stage with the likes of Sepultura, Morbid Angel and Soulfly, Malefice are the latest big act to arrive at Vault this Friday.
The band, from Reading, are tipped to be one of the first English heavy metal bands in decades to have the potential to be as big as the likes of Iron Maiden, Motorhead or Black Sabbath.
The band are all about heavy metal at its purest and come without any industry hype, haircuts or other gimmicks.
Signed to Metal Blade label (along with the Cancer Bats and Behemoth), they have also toured with world class acts Arch Enemy and Anthrax.
Other notable moments of the band’s career include being mentioned by David Mitchell (who sarcastically called them his favourite band) on BBC television show The Bubble and recording a song with Everton goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann. The last album, Awaken the Tides, their forth studio album, was released last year to critical acclaim.
Malefice play at Vault tomorrow night with support from Tear Of Eden and Want For Destruction. Doors open at 8pm.
