The Range opens at Junction One Retail Park in Rugby creating 150 jobs

A NEW home, leisure and garden store opened in Rugby today (Friday) has created 150 new jobs.

The Range opened at 9am today at the Junction One Retail Park.

The shop, which sells a range of home, leisure and garden goods, will be officially opened by the Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Kathryn Lawrence and owner and founder of the Range Chris Dawson.

The opening of the new Rugby store will create up to 150 part and full-time jobs, from store and department managers to warehouse and admin staff.

Mr Dawson said: “We are very pleased to be able to create a number of local jobs and are confident this store will play a big part in the continued success of The Range brand across the UK.l

“I would like to thank the council for welcoming us to Rugby with such open arms. We would like to welcome the locals to the store opening, so they can see first-hand, what we are about and the great quality and value products we can offer them.

Customers will be able to take advantage of opening day offers at the store tomorrow, which will also see the opening of its large Christmas shop which has artificial trees, lights, decorations and gifts.

The Captain Range mascot will be attending the opening, handing out balloons.
