Three people charged in connection with Rugby robberies

Two men and a woman have been charged in connection with two robberies at shops in Rugby earlier this week.

The first incident occurred shortly after 5.15am on Sunday November 13 at Madden’s newsagent on Hillmorton Road.

The second incident occurred at around 6.30am on Tuesday November 15 at One Stop on Lower Hillmorton Road.

Dominic Trevor Williams, aged 32, of no fixed abode, has been charged with robbery in connection with the incident at Madden’s and One Stop.

Daniel Christopher Bale, aged 30, of no fixed abode, has been charged with robbery in connection with the incident at One Stop.

A woman, Panassaya Deephonduan, aged 23, of no fixed abode, has been charged with handling stolen goods.

All three were arrested at a property on Steel Street in Rugby last night.

All three will appear at Warwick Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery remains on bail until the middle of December.
