Two men arrested in Rugby on suspected drugs charges following police raid

POLICE arrested two men in Rugby yesterday (Thursday).

A 46-year old man was arrested at an address in Market Street, Rugby on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug, namely cocaine, after police officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Team executed a warrant at the address.

Other materials believed to be used in the supply of controlled drugs was also recovered at the address.

A 41-year old male was also in Regent Street, Rugby on suspicion of being in possession of a class A drug, believed to be cocaine.

Both males were questioned at rugby Police Station and have been released on police bail pending examination of the suspected drugs.
