A Rugby Scout group now has a place to call home after years of campaigning.
The new hut for the 11th Rugby Admirals Scout Group was officially opened by Rugby Mayor Cllr Tony Gillias on Monday evening.
The former football pavilion, off Cornwallis Road, has been derelict for a number of years.
The Scout group tried for years to lease it from Rugby Borough Council and its wish has finally come true following a refurbishment.
David Norton, assistant group scout leader, said: “It’s great. We are over the moon.”
