PUB-GOERS can celebrate the best of British Pub Week at a watering hole in Bilton.
Staff at the Black Horse, the Green, Bilton are pulling out all the stops to celebrate British Pub Week with a programme of activities starting tomorrow (Friday) and running until Sunday, November 6.
Activities include fish and chip meals served all day tomorrow until 8pm and a Halloween party on Saturday night following by a Halloween disco for children on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm.
On Monday there will be a coffee morning for mums and babies (10.30am-noon); a coffee morning for everyone on Tuesday and a quiz night on Thursday next week, 8.30pm.
On November 4 MP Mark Pawsey will be pulling pints and there will be a cheese and wine tasting afternoon (noon-4pm). On November 5 the pub will celebrate with fireworks, food and a band. British Pub Week celebrations will end on November 6 with a Sunday roast from 12-3pm and bingo at 8pm.
