A NEW manager at a Rugby charity shop has joined the recruitment drive to attract more volunteers.
Daz Piper-Garcia joined the British Heart Foundation Furniture and Electrical store in High Street, Rugby, last month as the new deputy manager.
Alongside manager Joanne Stewart, the store is recruiting more volunteers and generating more stock to help raise money for the charity. An incentive for volunteers is the opportunity to study for free for an NVQ in retail skills.
The shop, which sells a variety of new and used furniture and electricals, is also appealing for more donations including washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, DVD players, video recorders and audio equipment.
Are you the owner of a digital photo frame recently donated to the shop? Staff have found a memory card inside it.
