A Rugby man wanted by police after failing to appear at Warwick Crown Court last month has been arrested and sentenced.

Andrew John Orzechowski, 33, of Biart Place was arrested in Banbury on Tuesday night by Thames Valley Police officers after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He appeared before Warwick Crown Court yesterday, Wednesday, and pleaded guilty to assault by beating and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
