A spectacular night of fun and fireworks was enjoyed by hundreds of people in Rugby at the weekend.
Rugby Fireworks was held at Whitehall Recreation Ground and included Globot from Britain’s Got Talent, fire-breathers, stilt walkers, Hayley’s Impact Dance and covers band Silverside.
The annual event is organised by Rugby Round Table, which donates proceeds from ticket sales to worthwhile causes.
Rob Hartfield, who is one of the organisers, said: “The night was a great success.
“We had around 5,000 people watching and all the profits will go straight back into the community to charitable activities and people in need.”
Students from Bilton School helped put together this year’s show, working individually and then as a team up with a fireworks sequence for the second track in this year’s fireworks display.
