The Rugby Advertiser has teamed up with the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry to offer two family tickets to the swash-buckling family adventure Kidnapped.

It’s an action-packed thriller and the perfect half-term treat for families, and we have tickets for Tuesday, May 27, at 7pm.

Kidnapped is Robert Louis Stevenson’s epic tale of bravery and brotherhood.

A gripping plot and inventive staging combine to tell the story of Davey Balfour, who is secretly kidnapped on a ship to be sold into slavery after his uncle tries to cheat him of his inheritance.

The weird and wonderful world aboard ship pushes Davey to the limits of his courage.

When the ship is wrecked, Davey forms an unlikely friendship with Alan Breck.

As the two journey through the wild, rough and lawless Scottish Highlands, their true adventures begin…

Kidnapped has received great reviews from critics and audiences alike and promises to be a captivating and enchanting experience for the whole family.

Tickets, priced from £14.25 to £18.75, are available from Belgrade Theatre box office by telephoning 024 7655 3055 or via the Belgrade website where tickets are cheaper.

To be in with a chance of a family ticket, answer the following question: Which famous English actor, renowned for his distinctive cockney accent, played the part of Jacobite Alan Breck in the 1971 film version of Kidnapped? Was it a) Michael Caine, b) Albert Finney, or c) Bob Hoskins? Email your answer to lucie.green@rugbyadvertiser.co.uk to arrive by noon on Monday May 26. Include your name and daytime telephone number. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
