THE RUGBY Advertiser is giving readers the chance to tickets to a new stage version of George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl.
The book has been converted into a stage production by leading children’s dramatist David Wood and will be performed at the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham from Tuesday, March 15 until Saturday, March 19.
First published in 1981, George’s Marvellous Medicine is one of Dahl’s funniest and most exciting stories., all about a young boy who makes a marvellous new medicine to cure his grandmother of her terrifying temper. But when his grandmother drinks his special new potion the results are explosive and the most incredible things begin to happen - it’s the start of George’s amazing adventures.
The Rugby Advertiser has teamed up with the New Alexandra Theatre to offer lucky readers the chance to go and see the show free of charge.
The winner of the star prize will receive a ‘meet and greet’ family ticket to the 7pm performance of George’s Marvellous Medicine on Tuesday (March 15). After the show the family will have the opportunity to meet the stars of the show as part of the prize.
There will also be a standard family ticket up for grabs. Family tickets are valid for two adults and two children.
