Park permits are being offered to Warwickshire residents this winter.

From October, the parks service offers a great value six month permit which runs until March 31 2014.

All permits are available for individual parks, including the north and south and ‘All Parks’ permits.

For example, a late season permit for Kingsbury is just £25.00.

A spokesman for Warwickshire County Council said: “Perfect for those who like to enjoy a quieter countryside experience, bird watching, cycling or perhaps enjoy an Autumn walk. Beat those winter blues by getting out and about.”

A parks permit gives unlimited access during park opening hours. Late season permits are valid from October 1 2013 – March 31 2014 and can be purchased from Visitor Information Centres at Ryton and Kingsbury or online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/parks by clicking on ‘apply for a permit’.
