Police are appealing for witnesses once again after a serious crash on the M6 last month.

A blue Peugeot 206 went through the central reservation and overturned between junction two Coventry and junction one Rugby on Wednesday July 20.

A passenger, a woman in her twenties, suffered serious injuries that she is still receiving treatment for in hospital.

The motorway was closed in both directions between junctions two and one to allow the air ambulance to land and accident investigators to gather information.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw the car, and the manner in which it was being driven, before the crash happened.

Police would particularly like to speak with the driver of a small red car that was seen in the area at the time. This person could have valuable information to help establish what happened.

Anyone with information is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident 166 of 20 July.
