A WOMAN has died and a man taken to hospital following a collision on the A426 at Stockton last night (Monday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Stockton Road at the junction of the A426 at around 7pm.
Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find two vehicles had been involved in a road traffic collision.
“Sadly, it quickly became apparent to crews that nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead at the scene.
“A man, believed to be in his forties and the driver of the second vehicle, was treated at the scene for minor injuries and taken to Warwick Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
