PLANS for the redevelopment of the Rugby Radio Station site will go on display to the public this month.

The exhibitions, which will be held between May 18 and 21, will provide information on how part of the former radio station site could be redeveloped to support the expansion of Rugby with thousands of new homes.

Rugby Radio Station Limited Partnership (RRSLP), the joint venture between BT and Aviva Investors and the team behind the plans, will be hosting the exhibitions so that the public can find out more about the proposals which were submitted to Rugby Borough Council (RBC) as an outline planning application in April.

The exhibitions – and the opportunity for people to give comments on the plans to RBC – are part of the council’s statutory assessment and consultation process.

Exhibitions will take place on Wednesday, May 18 at Townsend Memorial Hall in Clifton-upon-Dunsmore between 11am and 8pm; the Ex Servicemen’s Club in High Street, Hillmorton on Friday, May 20 between 1am and 8pm and from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, May 21 inside the Clock Towers Shopping Centre.
