Police have released CCTV images of a youth they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a bicycle from Rugby station.

The incident took place on Saturday October 26.

The victim, a 16-year-old from Rugby, secured his black and red Mustang cycle at the cycle racks at Rugby railway station at about 12.30pm. When he returned at 7.30pm the same day, he discovered it had been taken from the cycle racks.

PC James Lynch of British Transport Police said: “We have undertaken extensive enquiries already, including speaking to witnesses, circulating images on police systems and reviewing CCTV.

“I am now appealing to members of the public to come forward if they recognise the person pictured as we believe he can assist our enquiries.”
