Clinical Harris helps Khalsa put distance between themselves and the bottom

Gurminder Ghattaura and Dave Harris were linking up well and causing problems for the Deeside defence, but the hosts were forced to wait until the second half to get their noses in front.
Intricate play between Jas Singh and Ghattaura cut out the keeper and, after the latter’s shot was illegally stopped on the line, Harris stepped up to convert the resultant penalty stroke.
Harris came close to doubling his tally from a short corner as Khalsa dictated the pace of the game and they were rewarded with a goal from Chudasama after a Jack Wells assist.

Hide AdGhazanfar converted the visitors’ only short corner of the game to give his side a lifeline, but Khalsa remained a threat and only a superb last-ditch tackle denied Ghattaura a clean shot at goal.
With ten minutes remaining, however, Khalsa sealed the three points.
Ghattaura and Singh combined to set Jo Colantonio up a for a shot which rebounded to Harris for a simple tap-in.
Khalsa now have a blank weekend, with their next league match a trip to Leek on November 10.
An almost full-strength Khalsa 2nds gained a hard-fought 5-4 win over Harborne in Midlands One, with Adrian Betts scoring twice.
