Footballing volunteer Jasmine Morris, 16, has added yet another award to her impressive CV.
She is the Birmingham County FA Young Leader of the Year winner for 2011 - well deserved for the hundreds of hours she puts in to help others in sport
Jasmine was recently selected as one of only 100 from the whole of the UK to go to National FA Young Leaders camp in Herford for a week with National FA staff.
And she has just received a letter from the Olympic Torchbearer team to say she has reached the judging panel stage and final decision on the 2012 successful applicants will be made in December.
Coach to Rugby Town U12s’ girls’ team, she is an inspiration and role model to other young people. The club has a new young volunteers programme, which has already seen 26 young people take up voluntary work. It is open to 14 to 21 year olds.
Last year Jasmine was selected to join the BCFA’s Coaching for Hope ten-day trip to South Africa.
