The cup often brings out a rare result and Sunday was a great example. On the Rocks Quigley’s take the headlines after pulling off a 3-3 draw with division 1 opponents Community Relations.

They battled hard from the first whistle to the last. They went a goal behind in the 25th minute, but just before the break Lloyd Senna found the net to make it all square. They didn’t start the second half well and went behind again to an early goal. With 60 minutes on the clock Patrick O’Brien fired home to make it 2-2 and then Gavin Pickering put them ahead for the first time in the game. It was CRC’s turn to battle and they were rewarded late in the game when they found an equaliser to share the points.

In a repeat of last week’s fixture The Royal Oak were 3-0 up at the break against The Webb. In second period they found four more to make it 7-0 before substitute Nathan Dickens pulled one back for the Webb just before the end to make it 7-1 at the finish. The Oak scorers were Lee Thomas with a hat-trick - one of which was a 30-yard power driver, Wez Klopper 2, Glenn Ewing and James Henry.

The Barley Mow came out on top in their game against the Avon Mill winning it 5-3. Barley goalscorers were Lee Golding, Craig McCauley, Troy Dixon, Dan Scott and Jamie Cross. For the Mill Tynan Jones hit a hat-trick.

The Prince of Wales beat Clifton Bulls 2-1.

Adam Gould got the CRC Reserves’ goal that gave them a 1-1 draw with the Royal Oak Reserves.

In the league Lawford beat Athletico Belbao 8-2.
