The Rugby Town Volunteer Workforce have been congratulated on another successful season.
The group – made up of officials, managers and coaches – gave nearly 1,000 hours of their own time to run teams from four up to 21 years old.
Within that, the club runs a Young Leaders Programme ratified by the Birmingham FA.
The programme trains them as coaches before they go and run teams at the club.
Co-ordinator Jason Morris announced the programme had seen nine male and six female young leaders progress to become coaches.
The Volunteer of the Year winner was also announced and Mark Cross was this year’s recipient.
Morris said: “We are grateful to Mark for all his work within the club and the hours that he puts in.”
