Search for new boss begins after 6-0 FA Cup defeat
Rugby Town have announced the resignation of manager James Jepson.
A statement on the club website says: “Rugby Town have today accepted the resignation of manager James Jepson with immediate effect.
James handed in his resignation shortly after the club’s 0-6 FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round defeat to Brackley Town due to personal reasons.
The club will now begin the search for a successor.
A full statement will follow.”
Jepson, 34, who also played for the Butlin Road club in 2014, was appointed in May, following the departure of Dale Belford.
In the league so far this season Valley have just four points after five games, from a win and a draw leaving them third from bottom of NPL Division One South.
