Kicking off with ‘Revolution’

There will be a new name on Rugby Town’s shirts for the coming season, after the club announced Rugby-based driving employment agency Revolution Driver Recruitment Solutions Ltd as a major sponsor.

Based at the Eastlands Court Business Centre on St. Peters Road, Revolution specialise in the supply of professional temporary LGV1 drivers to a large number of blue chip clients, and have grown to become one of the top driving recruitment agencies in the Midlands.

Revolution owner and Managing Director Neil Gurney was delighted to tie up the deal, which will see the name and logo of his thriving business on Town’s first-team shirts for the 2013/14 campaign.

Neil said: “I’ve personally followed Valley for more than 25 years now, and as a company we have supported the club for a number of years too, and it’s great to be able to take this a stage further by securing the shirt sponsorship.

“Having got so close to promotion last season, it would be great to see Dave Stringer and the lads go one better this time round - with the Revolution name on their chests.”

Town Director Mike Yeats was on-hand to present Neil with the new shirt design at Butlin Road last week, and he thanked him for his backing.

He said: “Revolution have been a loyal sponsor of the club for many years, and we are grateful for their support – as we are for the contributions from all our sponsors. Hopefully it will be a successful year for both us and all of them too.”
