Trio being total to nine, with Kolo extending his contract too

Rugby Town’s new manager James Jepson has agreed deals with three further players to be part of his 2016/17 squad, following last week’s announcement of six new arrivals in addition to the confirmation of the extension of striker David Kolodynski’s contract at the club.

The trio named this week are striker Aron Wint, winger Louis Hamilton and defender Jorna Moulton, with the first two of these having previously featured for Valley on a trial basis ahead of last season’s campaign.

Wint, 23, went on to feature more than 30 times in the Southern League Premier for Bedworth last season after he failed to impress then Town boss Gary Mills, whilst 25-year-old Hamilton has played for a number of non-league clubs over recent seasons including Kettering, Barwell, Loughborough, Stamford and Gresley.

Jepson has previously played alongside both men in his own playing career, whilst the third acquisition 19-year- old Moulton joins from Tamworth, having been released by the Derby County Academy a year ago.

The club has also announced their provisional pre-season schedule, with training due to start a week Saturday (June 25).

First up for Jepson’s new-look Valley side will be two away friendlies at lower level opposition Cogenhoe and Quorn on Tuesday 12th and Saturday 16th (of July) respectively, before they host a Coventry City XI on Tuesday 19th.

Shepshed Dynamo are due on the Butlin Road astroturf on Saturday 23rd, with another fixture on an artificial surface on the 26th – this time at NPL Premier Sutton Coldfield.

Further home warm-up games on the main pitch are pencilled in for August against Kettering and Grantham on Tuesday 2nd and Saturday 6th respectively, with the club also looking to fill the currently blank Saturday 30th July slot with another home match.
