New Year reunion with Kolo at Kettering

Rugby Town travel to league leaders Kettering today New Year’s Day (Thursday) for a 3pm kick-off.

They are likely to be facing former team mate David Kolodynski, who signed for Kettering in November.

Kettering are currently seven points clear at the top in Evo-Stik Southern League Central Division One, with 54 points.

Aylesbury are second with 47, Bedworth United third on 46 with Hanwell Town and Barton Rovers currently filling the other play-off spots.

Despite their win over Bedworth on Boxing Day, injury-hit Rugby are still sixth with 38 points.

With just a day’s rest, Valley are back in action on Saturday (3rd) when they host Egham Town at Butlin Road.
