Loughborough score three goals within 20 minutes

It was another disappointing night for Rugby Town, against Loughborough Dynamo who were just a couple of places above them at the foot of the NPL Division One South table.

In a disastrous first half, Rugby went 3-0 down within 20 minutes. But they rallied after the break and won a penalty for handball, converted by Aaron Moses-Garvey for 3-1.

Then Charlie Faulkner kept his composure to beat the keeper and bring the score to 3-2, giving Rugby the chance of earning a point. But they just couldn’t find an equaliser and the game ended 3-2.

It leaves Rugby Town still looking for their second league win of the season, the first coming against Kidsgrove way back at the end of August.

With draws against Gresley in the opening game and mid-October against Stocksbridge Park Steels, they have only five points from 13 games.
