Tuesday’s Gresley game postponed

Rugby Town continued their good run, adding three more points to their NPL South campaign on Saturday, by beating Carlton Town 2-1 at Butlin Road. The win lifts them to 10th in the table, with Carlton down in 19th.

The vistors went ahead mid way through the first half, but Rugby’s top scorer David Kolodynski equalised just five minutes later with 24 minutes on the clock. Captain Steve Towers then secured the win in the 73rd.

Rugby’s game at Gresley has been rearranged due to their cup involvement and will now be on Tuesday, March 15. The postponed Coalville game is now on March 1.

This Saturday Rugby Town travel to Kidsgrove Athletic, who are four places and five points below them in the table.
