Rugby were back in form in a brilliant 2-1 win at Slough on Saturday. The home side scored first, just before half time. But goals from Rugby’s strikeforce of David Kolodynski and Seb Lake-Gaskin in the 60th and 65th minutes proved enough for the points.

Leaders Daventry drew 0-0 with Royston, Barton Rovers beat Chertsey 7-2, Kettering beat Aylesbury United 3-0 and Dunstable beat Aylesbury 3-1.

It leaves Rugby third going into today’s games, with the winners of the division gaining automatic promotion and the next four teams facing the play-offs. Rugby’s last league game of the season is next Saturday (26th) away to AFC Hayes.
