Stockton 2 Folly Lane 3

Stockton played their first league game against a very well organised Folly Lane side and were 1-0 down to a very well worked goal.

For the second week running Stockton were slow out the blocks and paid for it when Folly went 2-0 just before the break.

Nick Bailie had a good chance to score afterwards but was well saved by the keeper. Stockton started the second half better and were in control until a keeper’s lapse gifted Folly a third.

Tommy Young made three changes on the hour with the introduction of Higgins, Vince and Finlay. Straight away this made a difference and Stockton seemed to up their tempo. They were rewarded by well-worked goals by Lea and finlay but they couldn’t get the equaliser and Folly held out.

n Five winners: C.Bayliss, P.Baxter, C.Stevenson, M.Walters and B.Turner each collected £220 in Rugby Town JFC’s lottery this week. To play call (01788) 331905.
