SPORTING Rugby children who want to follow in the footsteps of England’s Ashes heroes are urged to sign up for a new course which starts in January.
The free eight-week course at the Griffin Centre at Lawrence Sheriff School from Saturday, January 22 and will run from 10am to 11.30am.
The Sport Unlimited sessions are supported by Rugby Borough Council in association with the North and East Warwickshire Cricket Board, who will provide trained coaches to lead the sessions.
The course is open to girls and boys in school years four, five and six and all equipment will be provided. Children are, however, encouraged to take a bottle of water with them.
