This year the annual Warwickshire Junior Team Tournament was held at the Rugby College Sports Centre, attended by teams from Rugby, Coventry and Stratford. The event was organised by the Rugby Youth Badminton Squad and sponsored by the Rugby District Badminton Association.

The Swindon match took on a similar form to that at Poole when points were dropped when in good positions. These problems need to be sorted out quickly if they are to live up to the pre-season forecasts and reach the play-offs.
