CYCLING: Train for the Phil Cooke Challenge

If anyone’s planning to work off any festive excesses and get into training, the Phil Cooke Challenge Ride on Sunday, February 24 may be the perfect target!

This year organisers are adding a 50km route from Jack’s Hill café on A5 north of Towcester, in addition to the normal 100km route offered from this venue.

The Dunchurch start point is at the CIA Insurance offices in Ashlawn Road, which were both used for the Two Counties Ride in September.

Details of the event are on the website www.challengingtimes.org.uk where you can enter on-line. Again all the profits from the event will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care. This year we have also included the option for registered entrants to request a personal Marie Curie Cancer Care sponsorship pack for this event (tick box included on the entry form). Again the number of entrants will be limited to the first 500 registrations received.
