The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre in Rugby will be hosting a Comic Relief Spin-A-Thon on Friday, March 13 and is inviting everyone to take part in the fundraising day.

It doesn’t matter if you cycle for 10 minutes or 30 minutes, it will make a difference and change somebody’s life

The centre, which is run by GLL, the charitable social enterprise that runs Greenwich leisure centres under its brand name Better, has organised the Spin-A- Thon to take place from 11am until 8pm. Anyone aged over 11 is welcome to join in and help raise money for those in need.

The money raised by The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre Comic Relief Spin-A-Thon will be spent all over the UK, and across Africa, helping vulnerable and disadvantaged people living incredibly tough lives.

Lizzie Roberts, Assistant Manager at Centre said: “Red Nose Day 2015 is a great opportunity for us all to help raise money for those in need. All our staff will be taking part and it would be great to see the local community join in. It doesn’t matter if you cycle for 10 minutes or 30 minutes, it will make a difference and change somebody’s life. Please come along and join in.’

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and can either book 10 minute slots or turn up on the day to help raise money for Comic Relief. For more information, visit: www.better.org.uk/rugby
