Players raise funds for air ambulance

The Dave Wilson Memorial Golf Society held their annual Golf Day at Kilworth Springs.

Some 60 ‘golfers’ played in glorious weather and raised £785 for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance in the process.

The Dave Wilson Memorial Golf Day is to remember Dave Wilson a past friend from Long Lawford and to raise money for charity.

It was fitting this year that Dave’s son Mark Wilson won the competition in 17 years of trying, with his mum Norma presenting him the winners trophy. The day was a great success with thanks to all the people and businesses who contributed to hole prizes and raffle prizes.
