The competition, which was first introduced in 1990 by President, Norman Towler, is an 18-hole stableford competition, with the winner being presented with ‘The President’s Vase’.
Adrian met all the ladies on the first tee and provided them all with a glass of Pimm’s half way round.
It was a close fought contest: the winner on count back was Linda Long, scoring 42 points, second place went to Helen Webb with 42 points and third place to Beryl Holder with 41 points.
Rugby Golf Club’s mixed section played their last friendly fixture of the season on Sunday, away to Staverton.
