Sidecar speedway back with the Coventry Cracker

Back by popular demand, 1,000cc sidecar speedway returns to Brandon on Friday, October 2nd with the Coventry Cracker.

Following a big turnout for the Sidecar Shootout in August, the Heart of England Motorcycle Club is close to finalising another top line up, headed by the winner last time out, Mark Cossar from Rugby. The 29-year-old will be the man to beat in front of his own fans, with plenty of local interest too in the fortunes of his younger brother Tom Cossar, plus Pete Lloyd from nearby Marton.

Also back for a welcome return are the 500c sidecars, which proved a very popular addition to the card at the Shootout, with close and at times, controversial battles between Scott Dunn and Dave Carvill.

“After such good feedback from the August event, it’s great to get some more sidecar speedway action in before the end of the season,” said Heart of England promoter, Dan Crawford.

Once again, admission prices have been held at £10 for adults, with under-16s free. First race is at 7.30pm.
